New product developed by Real Time Location Technologies Rotherham

P1 Technology have successfully completed another design for manufacture. Our client Real Time Location Technologies based in Rotherham have developed a Pub/Restaurant location tag product and approached P1 Technology to develop a plastic enclosure for manufacture to a very tight deadline. The enclosure needed to house electronic components, battery holder and charge pin inserts for stackable charging. The product is currently in manufacture in the far east and is expected to hit the market in the coming months.

R&D Tax Credits

A seminar focussing on the specialist subject of R & D (Research and Development) tax credits was recently held Stocksbridge, hosted by P1 Technology and The FD Centre. P1 Technology client where invited to attend.
The seminar was principally delivered by Richard Cullum of R and T Consultants who have over a decade of experience in this specialised sector. Richard covered the essential topics of:

What is the process to obtain tax credits?
What exactly is R and D and what qualifies for tax credits?
How much tax credit is available
What records need to be kept

Howlin Plant - P1 Technology collaboration

We have teamed up with Howlin Plant to offer a full design, modification and repair service for Plant and machinery. With the design skills at P1 Technology and the hands on experience and knowledge at Howlin Plant our service for the industry is second to none.

Initially concentrating on safety for plant machinery we have identified an area which is critical for the safety of the driver of plant machinery, especially in a quarry and mining were there is potential danger. We can offer a Cab Guard service for any machine which will be fully design, manufacture and fitted on or off site. All cab guards are designed meet the FOPS standard BS EN 3449

A new plough for Legacy

Legacy Habitat Management has just taken delivery of their shiny, new, Newt fencing plough. P1 Technology project managed this design right from concept to produce a working prototype – all in- house, and helped patent the main idea. The prototype has been used for the past year without any issues, saving significant labour cost and increasing their market share. The reason for the latest version was to update any small improvements and to produce the plough in a more durable material to prevent wear and tear from dragging through the soil.

P1 design for injection moulding

The past 6 months have seen a requirement for injection mould optimisation. A CAD design might look good, but have you asked yourself if it can be made, and how efficiently? We have successfully optimised a diverse range of products; a casing for a care home security product for Network Communications in Doncaster, to a plastic sewage valve for Norham Plastics.
